We offer a wide variety of delivery methods for all of these course offerings. You are able to join a scheduled public class, book private group classes that are customized for your business, or even receive one-on-one tutorials. For most courses we also offer self-paced online delivery solutions as well.

Assessments

Test the skills of existing staff using online assessments from The Learning Company. We can customize our testing to focus on the skills and software functions that you feel are critical to the success of your business. We will provide not only the testing, but the reports that will enable you to evaluate the skill levels of your various staff and identify any training gaps that may exist. TLC Assessments can also be used to assess individuals for promotions or in order to determine skill sets and profiles that will best suit any given position (see TLC Screening for more information on this). Assessments can be delivered online or on site at The Learning Company.

TLC Screening

Before your next hire, test the abilities and skills of candidates in advance--before they are hired, trained, and working. The Learning Company can help you screen your potential candidates through a variety of online solutions. We offer screening in the following areas:

Basic, advanced, or standard tests are available and they can be grouped together in any order and at any skill level. Customization allows you to select task-specific questions from various tests, giving you the ability to test many job functions a position will require, all in one sitting.

Upon completion, TLC Screening will provide you with a report of the results and an analysis that may then be used to directly compare and evaluate a number of candidates. Their strengths and weaknesses will be evident and clear. It is also an excellent method for identifying your current staff’s proficiency and to discover the areas where future training would be beneficial.

Assessments usually take about an hour to complete, depending on the number of tests scheduled, and can be administered at the Learning Company office in Brandon or online for your convenience. TLC Check-Up

With TLC Check-Up, The Learning Company will conduct a free basic assessment of your staff. This assessment will help you to assess the skill levels of your staff, and any training needs that may be required. The following is included with your Free TLC Check-Up:

·      Assessments in the skills that your business focuses on delivered through the convenience of online testing (including some Microsoft Office software skills)

·      Reports on the results of the testing, including recommendations for additional up-training
